Shimokitazawa is a funny place that tries to be bonhemian and trendy at the same time. The general style waffles between way laid-back hip, and totally atrocious. Some people just try too hard I guess. You can find great deals if you take your time, though.

Today I finally finished buying stuff for CP outfits, got some boots, and seriously why am i still limping

Tomorrow, rehearsal; day after, photoshoot at 6am do you envy me or what

(protip: do not envy; 6am is the devil's time, also envy is a sin :) )

The WBC is going on right now, and it's nice to watch a sport for which I know the rules; still don't really 'get' soccer. Japan has a basketball league but they never show the games on regular channels.(つ_;) I also miss football. Most of all I kinda miss shootin' hoops with bro or poppa-bear or roomies!

Off to bed after I watch the new Office. :3

I love SHimoKitazawa!

There's a nice Cherry Blossom Lane if you follow that main road from the station east and then arc to the north. Pretty mellow, not all corwded like Tokyo proper. Them sakura'll start bloomin' soon, right?

a couple stops south of ShimoKita is Kyodo, and there's an awesome ramen shop called Bonzo Ramen, dedicated to Led Zep & Kiss. Tell Master Gordon said "hi" (either he'll remember me, or pretend to :)

It's a sunny 65-degree day here in NYC, and usually on a day like this i'd be bouncing around Shimo or Shinjuku, which i'm feelin' all natsukashiiiii over, so color me officially jealous. :(

Normally, my dear, dear Jimi...I can't fault you on your taste in anything. But. I just have to say it. Those shades...They ought to be burned at once. Preferably along with some kind of protective herbs of warding to prevent their plastic souls from ever being reincarnated. Phew. The hat, however, is made of cool.

I'm with Go. I really loved Shimokitzawa when I was there. Not sure I ever got the "atrocious" feeling from it. What made you feel that way?

Go: I'll have to remember that! It's a great place to just chillax; right now the plums are blooming and sakura are next so guess I gotta take a lady out that way!

And I will TOTALLY find that ramen shop :D

Liath: I disagree with you but I love, love the language you used to craft that. :-* (but thanks about the hat; guitar#2 said it makes me look like Link O_o)

Link...hah, yep I can kinda see that. It's a good thing, feel complimented.

You got a really radical pair of glasses right there. Pairing it with a little knitted beret adds that smart look too. Savvy!
