First off I would like to congratulate you...Hello!

First off I would like to congratulate you on all of your success and wish you the best of luck on all of your future plans^^ I have to say that you really inspire me to go out and follow my own similar dreams of playing in bands in Japan (I'm a musician myself, with 5 years of bass playing under my belt).

Now on to my question: how was it that you were able to find all those different bands and join so easily (or so it seemed)? Is there a sort of "Musicians Wanted" thing that goes on that is similar to what you would find back in the states? And how difficult was it to get in?

I'm sorry that's more than one question, hehe ^^; But yep, that's it!

Thanks, and good luck again!

-Rebeccabasschik7noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-80497317618247546312010-03-14T06:54:18.986+09:002010-03-14T06:54:18.986+09:00Hello, I'm new to your blog and I'm slowly...Hello, I'm new to your blog and I'm slowly trying to read all your entries. I had to comment on this one even though it is old because I find your musical background so very interesting. I always believed that you stagnate as an artist in any medium if you don't dabble in a little bit of everything and use what you learn to flesh out your style. Your willingness to experiment with so many genres is admirable.

I'm enjoying this blog so far, I can't wait to catch up!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12206682401552655355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-14087655446674934512008-03-26T16:27:00.000+09:002008-03-26T16:27:00.000+09:00James... Good to see you're still in Japan and seem to be doing well.

I was googling around the net at 12:21am and somehow sevensealed came to mind, which is how I stumbled across your blog. Crazy.

Hope the music works out well for you. It makes me happy to see you still actively pursuing your passion. My priorities have shifted quite a bit since way back when... I'm married with twin boys now :P

I still play from time to time (mostly recording electronic music via reason/midi controller) at home but not at all like I used to. My primary focus is family and work now.

Write me back some time. It would be cool to catch up.

-GaryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06748153676290351364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-35528599931010306212008-02-15T09:36:00.000+09:002008-02-15T09:36:00.000+09:00hahah you looked cute in high schoolhahah you looked cute in high schoolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-56446876836514297382008-02-14T07:53:00.000+09:002008-02-14T07:53:00.000+09:00completely innocuous comment: it's always fun to s...completely innocuous comment: it's always fun to see you called 'jim' (as in the photo names).

good luck with everything, and when your band begins its world tour (in may of 2011), i'll see you in nyc.stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04498391923901183161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-48901946665180193562008-02-13T03:47:00.000+09:002008-02-13T03:47:00.000+09:00I'm diggin the hair.I'm diggin the hair.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15264416.post-9812117597750215222008-02-13T03:25:00.000+09:002008-02-13T03:25:00.000+09:00"older hip-hop, in particular Digable Planets"Ouuu..."older hip-hop, in particular Digable Planets"

Ouuuch. {turns to dust}Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
