TH6 Album out

This is pretty surreal.

Wait for me there and Leaving You (february vers.)

And esteemed Guest in the shoutbox gets two points!

More of the same really. Or, more optimistically, more (Jimi/Tommy/the other guys/whoever you're a bigger fan of)! :D

"Leaving You" (Heavenly6 ver.)

Namika and ShizuenJune2 score!

haha i have no idea what is going on here

Wait for me there (heavenly6 ver.) PV

Kilix and Namika got the jump on this one!

MUSIC VIDEO SEEEECRET: the 'tea' was tomato juice

Haha, this shoot was so difficult. But the fun of seeing the final product certainly overrides it. :)

Honestly, I watch myself in this one and it barely feels like me. Who IS that guy?!

1 down, 3 to go... ;)

Jimi on the TV on the Internet

Not a single one of you was fooled by my previous entry, were you? :-*
I'd been thinking about that one for months, too! D:
Still it was fun to write, and also wake up to a million emails on my phone, since whenever a comment comes it gets sent to my keitai. :)

Anyway, quite a few people have linked me to the TV performances, so for those of you who missed them, first the one I was in:

That set was not conducive to good shots of me, although since I was merely window dressing and it wasn't really my performance, I don't really mind. :)

Earlier in the show she'd done a song as February:

My friend is the 2nd from the left most of the time, but when they get the letter cards she's holding the first M. She is ridiculously lovely, speaks fluent English, and although we kept meeting up in the hallway to talk we kept getting called away by makeup or wardrobe or, like, having to go to work. Just darling. Also even cuter in normal clothes and no makeup, which is just unfair. I hope we work together again because she just lights up the place and I feel warm merely being in the same room as her. And this is purely in an aesthetic sense.

today is cp rehearsal gah i wish i could tell you guys stuff so bad

I Kill My Heart

The readers of Rock Japan Elec-tric are the best readers out of any readers who have ever read anything. They are clairvoyant, they are Internet Encyclopedia Browns, and they support me no matter what, which is actually kind of insane of them and they should really get checked out. :-*

That said, you're right about the TV appearance, so let's give some details:

3/28 (Sat)
Fuji TV, channel 8, 6pm
"Music Fair"
I will be playing guitar during Tommy Heavenly6's performance.
I probably won't pop up too much during those 3 minutes, but it's something.

Also, apparently this is the cover and promo shot for the new album:

Once again, thanks to Sneakglove for finding this stuff out way before I'm told anything! Sneakglove should be my publicist.

Tommy Heavenly6: "Unlimited Sky" PV

Whee!

Some notes:

-We filmed this the same day as the "Papermoon" video, near Mt. Fuji. It was my first time seeing it (the mountain), so that was neat.

-I don't know if you can tell easily but the band is the same as the first video.

-The drummer is wearing my shirt and tie, and the jacket I am wearing is one of hide's. (This was the secret; sorry it's not that amazing... didn't realize the lengths to which people would fantasize! :-P)

-Finally, that guitar solo in there, as well as most of the lead guitar parts, were NOT in the mix that they gave us that day, which is why no one is playing it! It came out of nowhere for me on my first viewing of the finished product. :-P

Also how do you guys find my stuff before I do?! You are the best, seriously.

Massive props, thanks, and kudos to sneakglove. :)

Tommy Heavenly6: Unlimited Sky CM

You're all already familiar with the Papermoon video, but also check out the guitarist in the Unlimited Sky promo. :3

When the full video comes out I'll tell you something pretty awesome about it.

Tommy Heavenly6 - PAPERMOON PV

A wonderful guest in the shoutbox found this before I did! How do you guys DO this?!

And thanks for all your comments. I hadn't been aware that Tinman and Lion were pulling such funny faces! Love it.

There's yet another surprise coming up, vaguely connected to this one.

Also, today in Shibuya in front of 109, I'm playing guitar with Becca, so everyone should come out at 2 and/or 4! 'Booya, 109. Got it? :D
